San Diego is many things to those who live, visit or work in our lovely city. But unique? Other than the spectacular weather, come learn what makes our city so darn fascinating!
After a lunch provided by Souplantation, we will engage you with a slide show that will acquaint you with the many ways that San Diego County is one of the most popular and unique regions in the United States.
Phil Pryde is a sought after speaker about topics ranging from Environmental Policies, to Migrations of Birds, and of course, the history of San Diego. He is the Professor of Emeritus from San Diego State.
In the community, he has served as Chair of the San Diego County Planning Commission, and also on the board of the San Diego County Water Authority. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego River Park Foundation, and of the Anza-Borrego Foundation.
He is the editor and primary author of San Diego: An Introduction to the Region, now in its fifth revised edition that was published in 2014.
Come and join us! RSVP at 858 292-5812.
This is too good to miss!
