Exploring the risk of sitting too much and strategies to combat it
Ever heard of the saying, Sitting is the New Smoking?
We’ll we have two top researchers from University of California San Diego coming to speak more in depth about this.
In fact, they say there is evidence that even if you do exercise, there is such thing as sitting too much! Simply reducing sitting can actually help you prevent cardiovascular disease and diabetes!
They’ll show us how certain technologies can be used to help nudge us in a healthier direction, and receive some tips to modify our day-to-day life to reduce sitting times and ultimately improve overall health.
