Opening Ceremonies

Yes, there is a $5 fee for your friend that you may pay at the door, but you must RSVP that guest so we can count the number of attendees. You, yourself, must be registered though and pay the $5 as you register for your sport.

We will be holding our Opening Ceremonies on September 9th 2016 at the Casa De Manana Community. We will have guest speakers, food and entertainment. It is a great way to meet athletes in other sports and just have a great time. We will have a limited amount of space and complimentary valet parking.

Registration

Please do not register for overlapping events. No schedule changes will be made to accommodate multi-sport or multi-event entrants. Refunds will not be given. If there is an extenuating circumstance such as a family death, an illness, or accident, you must contact the office or send a letter to the office for a refund. Mother Nature will not be a reason for a refund.

There is so much that goes on behind the scene to make these competitions happen that we need the time to organize competition brackets, hire officials, and other items that make for a successful, well-run tournament.

Most Registrations for the sports close 3 weeks before the actual event. Look at the Schedule of Events for information about the sports that allow on-site registration.

You should receive an email confirmation. Please keep the confirmation letter in a convenient location for reference when you come to the event. All athletes and team members must report to the designated check in area prior to their first competition.

If you don’t feel comfortable registering on a computer, you have a couple of options:  We will input your registration that we receive in the mail and mail you a confirmation or you can call the office number and register by phone.

Do not register for the team event as an individual. Contact the Sports Commissioner assigned to the sport or email info@sdseniorgames.org . We will send out your information to the teams that need players.

Team Captains must register their team and include basic information of their team members. Each team member will receive an email with a link for them to complete their information and pay for their individual registration. There will be no additional fees for team members unless they choose to participate in additional individual sports.

There is a $45 individual registration fee and small sport fees from $3 – $45 per event based on what the sport is. Registration and event fees include: event administration and organization, venue rental and restrooms, officials, permits and sanctions, medals, liability insurance, entry confirmation, event t-shirt and results administration.
